Julie was 8 years old when she first fell in love with the art of dance. By the time she was 15, she was a professional model and by 16, she was teaching dance to kids her own age. At 17, she was crowned Miss North Dakota Teen USA and discovered she was born to be on stage.
After her daughter was born in 2011, Julie thought it would be fun to set a fitness goal and enter a fitness competition. In six short months, Julie transformed her body and continues to receive high praise from coaches, competitors and judges about her stage presence and posing techniques as a Top Five Finisher.

As a teacher, Julie is patient and attentive to her client’s needs. She knows how to transform the uncoordinated, Tom-Boy athlete into what her clients Marielle Wakim and Sarah Harris refer to as ‘Beast-mode to Barbie-mode.’
Each client receives private instruction with body cues, choreography and design that best fit how their body should move on stage. Once the mechanics and routine have been perfected, Julie coaches her clients through the most important element of competitive fitness coaching – marrying the clients’ personality to their individual routine.
